If so, this is yer' chance t' get involved in a simple project and make a HUGE difference in our world! "National Clean Beaches Week" takes place everywhere there's a beach starting the tail end of June and wraps up during the first week of July. This much anticipated annual event is an excellent way for residents of Grande Pointe to spend quality time with their families and friends. Smiles, giggles and heart felt moments are always in abundance on this special day! August 18th Nautica Queen Cruise Ship Capt'n Willie Family Pirate Lunch Cruise Board at 10:00am and Cruise from 11:00-1:00pm Has yer' lil' swashbuckler ever been on a boat or ship? Imagine the look of excitement on their face just before boarding and all throughout the cruise. This two-hour journey will expose them to the historic Flats and incredible skyline of Cleveland as only it can be seen while traveling on the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie! Capt'n Willie 'The Great Lakes Pirate' sails back t' Fairport Harbor fer' ye' 18th annual PerchFest. Providin' great fun for everyone, over 2,000 pounds of Perch was served at this event in 2006! (Whew…somebody was busy cleanin' fish!!) With it's historic lighthouses, maritime museum and sandy beaches, the PerchFest has become a don't miss fall event on this picturesque shore of Lake Erie. Capt'n Willie will be recruitin' new crewmembers at this event between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Be sure t' stop by fer' some water safety knowledge, nautical nonsense and Great Lakes fun! October 6th A Company Clambake Ya can bet yer' sea biscuits ol' Capt'n Willie is lookin' forward t' recruitin' new crewmembers at this here event in Mentor, Ohio. With ye smell of fall an' clambakes in the air, this will prove t' be a swashbucklin' good time for crewmembers of all ages. (Hope they set aside a bake fer' ye Capt'n. Yummy!) October 13th Will’s 5th Birthday Land Ho! Capt’n Willie will be dockin’ his land ship in Bay Village, Ohio fer’ a big celebration. Hey crew, ya’ only turn 5 once…it’s true! This spooktacular Halloween cruise is a safe and family-friendly event filled with treats, treasures and surprises. Dress as yer' favorite pirate or in any friendly costume. (Nothing scary please!) That is of course, if yer' spendin' time on ye' North Coast. However, thar' will be no chill in ye' air durin' ye' Children's Holiday Party at ye' Cleveland Clinic's main campus. Capt'n Willie sets sail t' ye' Clinic an' drops anchor fer' two shows durin' this annual extravaganza. Ye' Capt'n is proud t' be invited back t' this event as a main stage performer fer' his third year straight! Take notice: This event is strictly fer' children of those souls employed by ye' Cleveland Clinic Foundation!
